Hike at your own risk
You hike at your own risk in this high alpine terrain. Good footwear (no jogging shoes), sun protection for head and skin, sunglasses and warm and waterproof clothing are an essential part of your daily equipment regardless of whether it is sunny and beautiful in the morning.

It is worth inquiring daily about the expected weather conditions. If the weather is bad and you choose not to walk, you can use public transport to get to the next overnight stay.

Be aware that you will not always have good mobile phone reception. We recommend you ensure your phone is fully charged every day.

We also recommend you download the daily hiking route onto your mobile phone and take a printout (topographic map) and the travel description provided with you.

Your Hosts
The hotels we have selected are family-run *** hotels / mountain guest houses. They are rated on well-known booking portals.

If you have any queries about your hiking route or the weather forecast, please contact your hosts.

Should you wish not to walk a planned stage, you can easily reach the next overnight stop by bus (Postauto) or with the Rhaetian Railway. Your host will be happy to help.

Luggage transfer for your long-distance hike
Please note - in order to have your luggage in the hotel of your next overnight stay by 5 pm, the luggage has to be in the reception area by 8.30 a.m.  This service does not include transferring your luggage to your starting point and return home after the end of your hike.

Catering
Although there are mountain inns along the routes, please ensure you bring enough drinks with you in your day pack. If packed lunches are not included in your arrangement, they can be ordered in the hotel the night before.

If the evening meal is not included in the package you are welcome to book it separately.

Travel and accident insurance
Insurance is your own responsibility. Neither the booking office  Bike-Explorer Parpan nor the hotels / mountain guest houses are liable for any accidents during your hike.
